Newmill Farm

The farmhouse was built in the 1700's and enlarged about 1830. In the 1990's central heating was installed and some of the bedrooms were made ensuite. The cottage is even older than the house but has been completely renovated. There was a pictish settlement at Newmill over 3000 years ago.

The house and cottage are set in 2 acres of mature garden, there is ample secure parking.

Newmill Farm

Although Newmill is a working farm, it has become more reliant on tourism. There are a number of walks on and near the farm, the quiet country lanes are ideal for cycling and there are many golf courses in the area. The area around Dunkeld is well worth a visit. At the moment the spring barley is looking good and we have just started the silage. All of the barley goes for whisky distilling and the silage fed to cattle over the winter.
